The results of the fifth ICFP contest are now available. There were two divisions: lightning and normal. Python was the most popular language in the lightning division, with 3 of the 10 entries. The other languages used were: Perl, C, C++, Delphi, Mercury, OCaml and Haskell.
In the normal division, there were 159 entries, with the language breakdown as follows:
