MacCentral recently mentioned a coffee shop in Washington, DC that provides free wireless access: CyberSTOP Cafe on 1513 17th St NW, in the DuPont Circle area. (A few blocks east of DuPont Circle, actually.)
I stopped in today. It's a quaint little space, with a couple of rent-by-the-hour PCs, and good pipe. It's also a smoking friendly establishment, so keep that in mind if you're anti-tobacco.
