Microsoft removed their free truetype fontpack for the web. But their EULA allowed redistribution, so you can get them here.

I wonder what sort of twisted logic brought us to this...

Um, I didn't do that. All I did was read through the /. story long enough to see the link to the sourceforge project, and make a journal entry linking the two.

OK, then I take it back. I mean, it's still a good thing to do, though. Just not that you get credit for it.
