Schuyler dug up a really inciteful Heinlein quote this week:

Neither individuals nor corporations have any right to come into court and ask that the clock of history be stopped, or turned back.With all of the hew and cry about open source being tantamount to evil, pernicious, godless communism, we seem to have forgotten that corporate interests are secondary to the public interest. And that's one case; Schuyler mentioned this quote in the context of copyright being dead.
