lemonodor has a QuickTime movie that demonstrates what it's like to use a Symbolics Lisp machine (the connection is through an X Client, that happens to be a Mac OS X box). There are some more screenshots of the Mac Common Lisp, which undoubtly harkens back to the glory days of Symbolics.
This is beginning to remind me why Smalltalk, Symbolics and NeXTSTEP were so innovative, and why VisualBasic (et. al.) are so lackluster and derivative by comparison...
