Thank goodness for mail filters.
I've got a pretty long .procmailrc to route mail to a long list of mailboxes for all of the lists I'm subscribed to. Last week, I started getting hit pretty hard by the I am sending this to you for your advice spam (I forget which email virus this is). After I got ten messages in a row from a particular sender, I got fed up and killfiled that sender.
After that, I logged another 44 messages and 16MB coming from this sender, presumably due to this email virus. Wow.
Next on the todo list: killing foreign language spam, and migrating to either more intensive procmail filters or Mail::Audit.
