From The New York Times:
Just 11 years after it was born and about 6 years after it became popular, the Web has lost its luster. Many who once raved about surfing from address to address on the Web now lump site-seeing with other online chores, like checking the In box.
Maybe now that the hype is fading, we can get on with our lives and do some real work. The web could be a great place if we aren't compelled to chase each new fad: Push Technology, Frames, IE4, B2[BCDEFG], Dancing Duke, JavaScript, No JavaScript, .....
Sadly, the web is becoming full of cobwebs in the unlikeliest of places.
