If you hate Lotus Notes, you're not alone. JWZ posits that what really killed Netscape (aside from Microsoft's predatory practices) was the shift of focus away from web clients into groupware apps.

JWZ's rant is certainly worth reading. He's not spouting off on the glory days of Netscape, and how management killed it. He's relating what Netscape did wrong, and why Novell/Ximian was going down the wrong path with Hula, before they refocused it away from becoming "Groupware".
