This page of ~200 photos of kittens has bouncing up and down on the list of popular links over at del.icio.us this week. Some of the shots are disturbingly cute.
However, this is a simple page with almost 6MB of JPEGs. It took a while to load, and pretty much froze my browser. wget -p, on the other hand, worked like a charm. ;-)
-p in this particular way (I've used it for limited recursive downloads as the manpage describes).
