Been pre-occupied the last couple of days. Started a journal entry or two, but never posted them.
I'm in the middle of Alistair Cockburn's Agile Software Development. It started out slow and fluffy in the intro, but it's got a lot of good ideas discussed in detail. The best way to describe it is that it's one meta-level above Kent Beck's original XP book; this is a survey of different techniques that can be applied to make software teams more productive, and produce better software. Most of them are simple and easily started.
