I stopped off to get a cup of coffee after lunch at the local bohemian coffee shop. Nice place, actually, except for the coffee. Here was today's little exchange:
Z: How much is that?Maybe it's not just Starbucks that's evil. Maybe it's all coffee shops. :-) :-)
#1: That'll be $1,000,000.
Z: I'm a little short today. Can you spot me?
#1: Sure. Sell your soul?
Z: Er, not today. Maybe next week, though...
pay the real total, walk back to the office
#1: Maybe we should do that -- let people pay for food with their souls, if they're short or something.
#2: And keep it? Where would we put them?
#1: No, until they come back with the money. We'll only keep it if they don't come back to pay.
#3: Ya know, I was on ebay once, and I saw people selling their souls!
#2: Really? How much were they getting?
#3: About $20-$28.
