Music

Since everyone's posting what's in their MP3 jukebox these days, I might as well chime in.

I ripped a whole bunch of CDs a few months ago, and keep them loaded in XMMS, usually on random rotation. The most annoying bit about the current play list is that I have NIN Broken loaded in as-is (yes, all 100 tracks), and sometimes it seems like every other track is two seconds of [silence] from that CD.

Most of what's playing these days is forgettable triphop. Lots of Massive Attack (yes, the house band for Victoria's Secret), but also the K&D sessions from Kruder and Dorfmeister. Occasionally some Miles Davis or Rage Against the Machine if I really want to block out the world.

Got to get some new CDs soon. This mix is starting to get tiresome. Perhaps a trip back to 80's English Pop is in order - something more than just London Calling....

English 80's eh?

Well then, I recommend The Cure, New Order, Depeche Mode. Not necessarily in that order mind you. And if you like that sort of thing - Ultravox and Japan - with a bit of Gary Numan thrown in for good measure. You should be sorted then!
