Springsteen on XM

I got an XM home system about a month ago. It's been absolutely wonderful, and it's reminded me how much I missed good radio.

Springsteen fans (in the continental US) can get a special treat this Memorial Day weekend: Springsteen 66, starting noon Saturday (EDT):

Noon through Tuesday May 27th at 6AM ET
The Loft is pleased to present the definitive Bruce Springsteen Memorial Day weekend special with 66 hours of nothing but Bruce! You'll hear all the hits, the imports, B sides, lost album tracks, plus The Top 5 Springsteen Concerts as voted by the users of www.springsteennews.net "re-created" and aired throughout the weekend.
I'm not a huge fan of the Boss, but it sounds cool. And there are 99 other channels of programming if you'd prefer something else instead. :-)

I can heartily recommend the Delphi XM receiver. It needs an additional adapter kit, but the same unit can be used in the car, the home or with a boombox. It took me about 15 minutes to set the whole thing up, from unpacking the box to doing activation online. (The hardest part was making sure the line out plug was plugged all the way in, and finding the best location for the satellite antenna.) Most of the other units are car kits.

Reception fades away occasionally, but only when it's seriously overcast. I think I need to find a better location for the antenna, since we don't have a south facing window.
