I have decided to learn Perl.
I have also decided to write about my journey.
I am currently a SysAdmin on contract. I admin Windows 2000 and HP/UX boxes. I will eventually be getting into Oracle as well. My church website needs to be redone and I am going to do it in Perl/MySQL/CGI.
I have no formal programming experience beyond a couple college courses and a desire to be good Perl programmer. That is what is going to make this fun.
The journey has begun.
