Been poking around at it, debating about whether it would be useful for Wirebird.
But I'm not sure I can bring myself to use it, because I keep looking it up on CPAN via the search. And I habitually use all lowercase.
And my brain just will *not* stop parsing "moosex" wrong.
Bullmoose and Bullwinkle and other animal images

Teddy "Bullmoose" Roosevelt's self-given nickname apparently refers to the "relentless behaviour of the male moose during breeding" according to
the Wikipedia article on moose. This is probably the over-determined source of the Bullwinkle name that according to
the Bullwinkle entry comes from the name of a car dealer that appealed to Bullwinkle's creators' sense of humor.
Incidentally what a great image they have there, something in the league of the camel. The moose has just the right amount of attractiveness and bizarreness (repulsiveness) to appeal, something that the gnu and the python, for example, lack.
It is surprising for this reason, I can't think of any use being made in popular culture of the camel as a character.
I have once or twice tried dangling the CAMELEOPARD under Audrey's nose, but couldn't get her to bite. The
Wikipedia entry ignores the fact that word also refers to creatures similar to the one on the cover of the O'Reilly Perl6 book, putatively, at least.

But a giraffe (one meaning of cameleopard) would be an inappropriate image, just as the penguin is an 'albatross' round Linux's neck. They are both too cute and childish.
