It's official. I now pass three Starbucks on my walk home from work.
You know, I've been in New York for two and a half years, now, and the past two summers, I had a suspicion that I wanted to test: That one could cross the island of Manhattan, from Hudson to East River (say, above Houston on each side), within sight of at least one Starbucks at all times.
But I've never actually strapped on blades and gone out, Starbucks brochure in hand, to test the theory. I think I can do it, particularly if I expand it to be "either Starbucks or Barnes & Noble". Which does serve Starbucks coffee.
I think I'll do that this summer. Finally. Yeah.
