I hosted a party last night. I started the evening with 30 bottles of beer, 6 bottles of wine, and 1 2-L bottle of soda. Now I have 29 bottles of beer, 5.7 bottles of wine, and 0.1 2-L bottle of soda, along with a variety of empty bottles. Isn't hosting a party supposed to be more expensive than this?

It was in DC, and was a fairly small party, but I guess my friends just aren't big drinkers (or at least my average friend isn't). The advantage is that I don't have to remove vomit or guests from the floor.
