While nursing a slight hangover I spent some of my New Year's Day taking down the Christmas lights from the outside of our house. We didn't put up half as many outside lights as last year, approx 4000 this year. I think I gave my Wife a heart attack last year climbing around on the roof so she banned me from putting the lights up there.
It's this time of year that reminds me why I like living in Arizona - Wintertime or er, lack thereof. I was in t-shirt and shorts for most of the day yesterday. This "nice" weather lasts until April (ish) and then it's all downhill from there culminating at the end of July when you get fried alive if you think about stepping outside. So, I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
