It's interesting to see perly peeps justifying why they have or have not contributed to the Perl foundation. Peer pressure man, it's a force to be reckoned with.
You and you alone (hmm, well perhaps your significant other actually) know your financial situation. If you feel you cannot justify giving to the cause then that's your own business and you shouldn't have to explain it to others (whose business it is obviously not).
