Ha ha, davorg's journal reminded me that even though we both speak English (we meaning Brits & American's) sometimes it can be amusing when the same words mean *completely* different things - see my comment on his journal. My wife and I (she's American and I'm the sole Brit in our household!) sometimes have pretty good (and rather funny) 'discussions' on this subject. Oh, and then there's the never ending debate I have with my American work-mates on whether Football is Football or Football is Soccer or Football is 'American Football'. It's funny, more than 3/4 of the Worlds population calls Football 'Football' and it's only America that has taken it apon itself to rename it to Soccer - go figure (that's an American phrase - see they're winning...). Of course I'm always outnumbered 100-1 in these arguments - but I go down fighting!!!
