No, not really bored.. but everyone else in the team is off at a client site doing a deployment hackathon.. being in another project, I am out of things, so I am in the happy situation of not having officially assigned work..
Decided that I didnt really know how to program Windows (its true, I dont.. I only do server stuff), so needed to learn something that would let me program in it.. I know a bit of wxPython and Tk, but hmm, it didnt seem quite right.. so installed Delphi.. (yes, because I have no wish to spend $$$ on VS.NET right now.. maybe I can work on it at my old university, must check)
so far, so good.. its Pascal like and I was always a C person, as opposed to a Pascal person, but the syntax isnt that hard.. fumbled around for ages trying to get a messagebox to pop up, couldnt figure out the parameters, so made another form that looked like a message box (sigh).. need to read something on the language and I can be halfway productive in it.
Started playing badminton again and realized exactly how unfit I was.. *sob* 15 minutes on the court and I am panting and gasping for breath, yikes..
