Got coerced into taking part in our corporate team for the local quiz show, named (what else?) Masterminds... Ummm, as if the abject public humiliations of my pre teens and teens weren't enough...
Their list of topics reads like that impossible question paper :) (try current affairs, politics, history, sports, literature, arts, music, Greek, Roman, Hindu mythology, religions, geography, inventions and discoveries, sciences)... whew :). So, no Broodwar and Q3 with folk at my old university this weekend, its time to hit the books and get surfing to places OTHER than Slashdot and Perlmonks :p++ ugh...
In more news: I am now happily running the brand new Apache 2 for Win32... yippee (don't notice a BIG speed difference really, but if the boys at Apache say its faster, I believe em ;) Now, I want mod_php and mod_perl to work.. (insert a whiny tone here :) (update: yes, yes, the new RC of PHP 4.2 is supposed to work, but the server throws a 404 when I try to get it.. bah)
In yet more news: I'm trying to install a task list / time tracker(mostly for myself, but also for some other folk in my team).. so far, I've looked at Request Tracker, PHProjekt, Tutos and a few other smaller ones... I've even thought of writing my own :o). Still waiting (sorta patiently) for the Template toolkit version of Bugzilla (2.16) to be released, then we have all the tools we need to manage a project inside our group :o)
