Get a probably buggy, sure-to-crash beta Win32 Postgres with the link here. Worked for me, I downloaded it yesterday, took it home, havent had time really play with it yet, but initdb worked, so something must be going ok.. or do I hear the gods laughing ?
Finished the 2nd Game of Thrones book last night. So far, so good..then I surf around today and find out that Book 4 is overdue (was originally due out fall 2002).. Have I gotten sucked into another Wheel of Time saga ? *smacks myself on the forehead for succumbing to another series*
The thought of upgrading all the modules is making me distinctly reluctant to move from 5.6 to 5.8.. so now I'm juggling a 5.8 installation on solaris with a 5.6 win32 development environment..I should be shot. Especially since the output of Storable on 5.8 wont run properly on 5.6.. I know it, I've been bitten by it, but I'm still putting off the upgrade.. there is a special place reserved in hell for being this lazy (as several people keep reminding me)
