My $writing_project is proceeding at an alarming rate! I completed two-thirds of a section today and I seem to be on track to an early first draft. The true fun of this project is that I'm learning a pile of Perl and get to partake in the world-renown sport of CPAN spelunking.
Also, if you're ever in the Bahamas, you need to eat conch fritters. Conch fritters are easily one of the few foods I could live off of due to their high daily values of mollusk at fried batter. They're not clammy or fishy, but they posses the magical attraction that any connoisseur of calamari would appreciate.
