AMS is busy writing re_dup, I have a test case which will test if re_dup works!
I just sent in a USE_REENTRANT_API patch to p5p which makes gmtime and localtime threadsafe if perl is compiled with -Dusereentrant
Tracking memory leaks in perl_clone!
It might be so that 5.8 will have no known threadraces.
