to settle over to Wx 0.83 with Kephra 0.3.8 was hard in terms of bugs but slowly the majority is shaken out. Wxwidgets folks changed a lot of constants and even some standard behavior so that many things didn't work on the first try. i also refactored the ref handling of the gui parts.
all that forced me to improve the testsuite a bit and learn some bytes about testing. now that we have a name, the release tools, the most urgent bugs gone and kephra runs with the latest Wx again, it will be the next goal that
script_compiles_ok('bin/kephra') gives a true.
