Some poor sap in Plano, Texas has been bitten by Nimbda. I watched off and on all day as the server attempted to infect mine. I don't have any of the requested files. Linux doesn't do EXEs.
Work wasn't too bad today. I arrived early to switch over what I believe to be my last server to the new addressing scheme. Linux rules. A few minutes after bringing the interface down, it was back up and rocking. No WINS fiasco, no fretting over this or that. Just ifdown, a few short edits, and ifup. Sweet stuff.
I had the opportunity to play with IIS some today. I was surprised at how easy it was to assign two IP addresses to the same NIC, then bind the IPs to different sections of the server. Pretty cool.
Did I mention that someone in Plano, Texas has been bitten by Nimbda? Nimbda is like a year old now ...
