We're in the middle of migrating our 80+ servers to new IP addys. Fun stuff. We're scheduled to start the actual migration next week, and we're all up to our necks in work. So, why is it so goddamned important that we attend a meeting concerning "updates from this morning's manager's meeting"? Not one item covered was applicable to our task at hand.
Several months ago, I finally convince upper management that our video server was a piece of shit, and that implementation was impractical. My advice was to ditch our setup and go with RealVideo. The video client is available for all platforms, and it's fairly safe to call it an "Internet standard." Management, upon seeing the appalling nature of our current setup, readily agreed. Today I am informed that we are converting to Microsoft Real Media server.
*sigh*
