After waffling over silly technical issues for half a year now, I've finally started writing to my geek2geek blog about geek communications issues. The first post is Computer Science + People = Software Development.
So that's one New Year's resolution done.
Gentlemen, start your RSS readers!

The standard autodiscovery hoopla is all there. Any contemporary browser will display a feed icon in the address bar. (If you have to do it manually, that’s Right click → Page Info → Links and looking at the alternate type links, in Firefox.)

Thanks, didn't even know that feature existed.
I've always searched for the words rss/atom/feed/subscribe in web pages to find them.Re:No RSS

Err, I didn’t mention this explicitly – if you get a feed icon in the address bar, just click it.

Thanks, once upon a time I didn't notice that button either.
I'll generalize "Subscribe by email" to just "Subscribe" and put in all the RSS and email links. There's also a comments feed that for some reason doesn't show up in the feeds.
I'd put some big RSS icon on the page but I'd rather avoid fiddling with the templates right now.
