Since OSCON is coming up and so many people will be in town I've scheduled a BoF meeting for a Wikithon. Its Thursday, July 26th at 7:30pm PDT. Because that's 0230 GMT folks can start early. Physically it will be located in room E145 at OSCON. Virtually it will be on irc://irc.perl.org/#wiki. Hopefully we'll be able to rig up some sort of video conferencing.
What goes on at a wikithon? Editing a wiki is a lonely job, so mostly its about getting wiki editors together and talking and building a community. Specifically, here's some things that can be done:
* Add new articles
* Clean up existing articles
* Lay down better editing guidelines
* Never edited a wiki before? Now's a fine time to start.
* Want to contribute to Perl but not sure how? Here's how!
* Decide new and useful lines of content for the wiki
* Build wiki (gardening) tools. ST has a nice API for this sort of thing
* Get sites outside the wiki to start linking to Perl 5 wiki articles
* Brainstorm new ways to use the wiki
