I've been enjoying reading all your journals' for a few weeks now, ever since I rediscovered Meerkat. But it's also made me feel guilty for taking without giving anything back. So I thought I'd give it a try.
I've been back to playing Go lately, now that my book is out of the way. I played a couple games on KGS which is a much nicer system than the crufty old IGS I'm used to. Thanks for the tip, Simon.
At work I helped birth Bricolage 1.4.0 today, which contains a sizeable chunk of my SOAPy love.
I've been ruminating on doing some more work on HTML::Template::JIT lately. I'd like to add support for HTML::Template::Expr. I can't decide if doing that means I have to revise the internal architecture of all the modules or if I can do it with just one more vile hack. This might be the one that kills me, or the one that sets me free...
I'm almost done with Perdido Street Station and I've enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Sure, it's heavy on style and light on most everything else, but it does hang together a lot better than it should. After that I have to get started digesting the Kobo Abe buying binge I went on a few weeks ago. I bought Secret Rendevous, Inter Ice Age 4 and The Ark Sakura, all of which I've read before. I can't wait to get back into that crazy, crazy head. It's been entirely too long.
