If you have access to some form of /^BBC.*/, I heartily recommend Kumars at No. 42. I haven't enjoyed a talk show this much since Fernwood Tonight. And Kumars has real guests, like Stephen Fry, and Captain Picard, um, I mean Patrick Stewart :) If you have cable in the states, you need BBC America. I'm curious, though, how far behind we are from the real /^BBC\d$/ channels.
Also, lately we've been experiencing the joys of Tivo-like digital recording. Buck Rogers (the Gil Gerard version) has been coming on the SciFi channel at 4am lately, and the whole family has been watching it together at a reasonable hour (as much as I like Farscape and Battlestar Galactica and the Stargate shows, they just aren't as family friendly). Yesterday there must have been a marathon, and now we have a backlog of episodes :-)
