My wife and I beat the crowds and voted at an early polling location during lunch. It's nice to be done with that :)

I really, really don't like this idea. We're poll-happy enough as it is, too many people want to "vote for a winner" or if one candiate takes an early lead folks may be discouraged from bothering to vote. Its my fear that exit polls on early voting will just fuel this mania.

I agree. Early voting is fine, but they should have laws against revealing any early counts. The exit polling is tougher, but that should be restricted as well. People often aren't honest in their exit polling responses anyway.
