In reference to my previous entry, it was a simple addition of an '#include limits.h' to the 'oracle_compat.c' file, and then it and everything else compiled fine. Now to figure out how to use postgresql :)
You've probably already found it, but the Postgresql book is available online. It's a couple of years old, so I'm not sure about its relevance to the most recent release. If you find out, please post an entry.

Thanks, no I didn't see that, though I have seen the book in the bookstore. I think it helped, I can't remember now where I saw all the info I needed to get going...but I'm sure this'll help in the future.
