I don't bother with enabling WEP on my home access point simply because I don't have a 24x7 connection (no DSL yet), and there just hasn't seemed to be a reason. Then tonight, a houseguest of one of my neighbors asked if it was my WAP that his TiBook's AirPort kept detecting whenever he was working.
I have encryption turned on, now. Not that I'm greedy, but with only 56K I really don't have bandwidth to spare.
