ABE.pm Non-meeting

Last night was the second technical meeting for ABE.pm, but almost no one showed up. PRL was there, which was good. He's at least as interested in the success of the group as I am, I think. There are three or four other guys who seem like potential regulars. One announced that he couldn't be there, but apart from that, I don't know what happened.

Phil and I started by talking about some of his ~/bin-style code, and how to Test it, and this eventually turned into a long discussion full of many twisty digressions, all different. So, we had a good time (or at least I did), but it wasn't really a PM meeting, I think.

We need to get attendance up, especially if we want to get some "real speakers." Or maybe "real speakers" will inspire attendance... who knows. Time to ask on the mailing list...

'Real Speakers' or celebrities tend get the attendance up. We where visited by Dan Sugalski and Allison Randal in Copenhagen Perl Mongers, this resulted in one of the largest meetings we had ever had.

Just remember to announce it in as many places as possible
