"So", Mark said, "we need to come up with a new Acme module"
There may have been beer in the room.
After a little bit of casting around Mark did proclaim "Acme::Your!" which we figured out would give you the C<your> keyword, to allow you to introduce a lexically scoped package variable into someone elses namespace.
It was just crazy enough.
http://unixbeard.net/user/richardc/lab/Acme-Your/ - it's pretty fragile, but it has some tests (because they were written first - naturally) nnd no documentation, because that hasn't been transcribed from the 2" x 1.5" scrap of paper that was the design document yet.
Todays lessons: Filter::Simple is nifty, and Perl will give you enough rope to make you a pretty jacket to be hung in.
