After much procrastination and protesting to myself that I'd sooner just attend and not have the stress of needing to prepare a talk I pitched the Siesta talk to the YAPC::Europe 2003 folks.
I'd claim I felt it was important to leave it until absolutely the last moment possible, but it actually that I forgot to do it earlier in the day.
