What's new on p5p ? (Well, I hear here and there complaints about the death of the p5p report. I thought I could write down here some notes about the p5p news... perhaps as a warming up for a future weekly but informal report during the 5.9 development track.)
There's an on-going discussion between Stas Bekman and Nick Ing-Simmons about some PerlIO-related stuff (that apparently noone cares about or understands, except if you're working on the inners of mod_perl 2). Besides this, most patches are about documentation and uncommon platform builds, the development being frozen.
