Yesterday, I spoke and drank with François Tusques, the (once) famous French free jazz pianist, after a very good concert of him (with Jef Sicard playing saxes, clarinets and other stuffs). This guy played with Steve Lacy, Don Cherry, Sunny Murray, and other countless legends... Although he used to sell respectable number of records in the 70's, it's difficult to reach new audiences in today's music market, in spite of the good will of a few journalists. He could use some of this interweb stuff. Went to bed at two in the morning.
