I've received my copy of Practical mod_perl. This is a large, thick book. Physically large. As I've mentioned before, I like thick books. So I measured it. It's actually the fourth thickest book I own. It's oversized by a copiously annotated Bible, a partial translation of the Mahabharata, and the complete works of Shakespeare, "Compact Edition", in one volume, published by Clarendon Press.
