I noticed an interesting book review of Casino Royale, the first James Bond novel, at kuro5shin. Interesting comments as well. I learned that the SMERSH existed for real !
Heh. You know it's a good insult when it makes you chuckle even if you like what's getting insulted....for the most part the novel is well-paced and tautly written, in contrast to your average Tom Clancy boat anchor.
