We experienced various technical failures in the past few days at home. The screens of the computer and of the TV became so dark that I had to push the brightness at its maximum level to be able to distinguish something. The DVD player refuses to play most DVDs, even the recently-purchased Angel ones. And my DSL modem is still inhabited by evil gremlins. I suspect some problem in the electricity delivery. This is uncomfortable.
Any chance there could be some unusually high magnetic fields? Those are very good at creating seemingly random failures in that kind of equipment.

Static electricity, and problems in the electricity network over my flat. Need repairs.
