I've got a starting date now, August 19th. I don't have anywhere to live though, I suppose I should sort something out.

How has the hunting gone? Today I've been juggling around my starting date, so now I'm starting at the original date, but may have to cope on my own for the first week while my boss is busy with other things. That'll be fun.
