In other news, I've finally given up on the supermarket in the middle of Oxford when it comes to getting fruit and vegetables. No turnips, no mange tout, no decent courgettes, tiny peppers and onions that only last three days before going squelchy. The market is the replacement and is helpful as I get to stand still while I bark my requirements at the stallholders who run off to fetch whatever I desire. The one let down is the close proximity of the fruit stall and the cheese stall, not to mention Madamme Palm's House Of Sin and all the wonders of biltong.
