I'm about to finish university, and I want a job next year. A simple request perhaps and one you'd hope employers would take seriously and make it easy for me to attempt to get one.
But nooooooo. They want me to play silly games, throw complicated and broken online-application forms in my way, invite me to take aptitude tests that require a whole day's travel for an hour's testing session then, having survived that far, ask me to endure assessment centers.
I'm starting to believe that this is either subtle preparation for a life filled with organisational complications or some dastardly plot by the combinded personel departments of the world (in league with ocupational psychologists) to justify their otherwise pointless existence.
