Margins

Margins are very important, they are where my thumbs and fingers live while holding a book. They should be wide enough to allow my appendages adequate grazing without their getting in the way of the words that I paid for. Take note Scott Adams, you are now on my margins-too-small death list for Dilbert - The Joy of Work, which wasn't even very good.

Margins are also the place in which I write little notes to myself, although I only do this with technical or cookery books. These margins should be much larger than normal, so that my spidery essays about yesterday's dinner can be read from the page in half a year's time.
