Parallel::MPI::Simple seems to be working, so I've made a package for people to play with OVER HERE!. I still need to test it on more platforms before I release it to CPAN (which I will call 0.10).
It's slightly tricky converting Inline::C modules into distributed modules as I gained a whole slew of odd error messages that needed me to dive into the guts on Inline to figure out and fix. All in all though, I *heart* Inline still.
