I went ahead and turned on the spam filtering on pobox.com, where I get most of my mail through. I turned on the highest level of filtering, and told it to never delete, so everything it thinks might be spam is tagged in the subject with "[spam score ...]". And I just toss everything with that tag into my SpamAuto mailbox, which I periodically scan to make sure there's been no mistakes.
It makes my Eudora filters simpler, anyway ... :-)
