Thank you for answering my question. (Next time I'll try to record myself asking it, rather than leave myself to the mercy of your voice synthesizer :).

I'm assuming since you didn't say anything about it that there's nowhere to send donations. (Although I will be more likely to be a VA customer in the future.)

In my other life, I'm a graphic designer (in training), so I wonder:
Graphically, have you considered putting the banner below "use Perl;" and the search box, but above the slogan? Or possibly between the slogan and the nav links? I'm wondering if that would make it fit in a little better. (Actually, you might be able to fit something between "use Perl;" and the search box, but probably not a full-size banner).

And is there any reason you chose a graphical banner rather than text ads? I'd think you'd want text ads to fit in with the text-heavy design of the rest of the site, but maybe the point of the banner is to look different.

Thanks for your answer!

Uh, oh. I'm guessing from your lack of textual response that you might be thinking of answering this in your podcast. Which means I owe you a voice recording. Gimmie a few days. :)

Actually no ... I just have no reasons or answers to those questions. :-)

That works, too. :)
